Our Era-Series ukuleles features the different tone of the different Philippine tonewoods. The tonewoods are graded and carefully selected to provide the best tone the wood can offer.
Tenor Ukuleles are one of the popular choices due to its wide fret spacing and a much deeper tone than the smaller models. The wider fret spacing makes it easier to position the fingers to form a chord especially when the player is used to the guitar’s fingerboard.
Acacia has this deep, warm, "woody" tone as a tonewood.
